You need more Leggings in your Capsule Wardrobe

Capsule wardrobes are totally on-trend right now, and for good reasons. They help simplify outfit choices, bring versatility to your wardrobe, and minimize wasted money. For those reasons, I’m a huge fan of the capsule wardrobe. However, I’ve noticed a serious lack of leggings in capsule wardrobes and it got me thinking. So, here’s a list of 4 reasons you need more leggings in your capsule wardrobe.

  1. Versatility -
You might be thinking “that’s great, but leggings are only for staying at home on the weekend”. Well, you’d be wrong. Leggings are an extremely versatile piece of clothing that can be worn at the office, in the home, out for a night on the town, on a date, or to a posh party. Check out our “Favorite Celebrity Legging Looks” for some inspiration for different outfits.
  2. Cost -
Leggings are an extremely cost-effective item to add to your wardrobe. You can buy a good-quality pair of leggings for less than $30.00 that will last you a long time. has a huge variety of leggings for every occasion that are quality, affordable options for the fashion-lover in us all.
  3. Comfort -
I feel like this goes without saying, but I’m going to say it anyway. Leggings are so darn comfortable! Once I put on a pair of leggings I refused to go back to jeans! Okay, I sometimes still wear jeans, but the comfort difference is insane.
  4. Variety -
There is a huge variety of leggings available. From chic black leggings to bright galaxy leggings to lace leggings. The amount of outfits you can make with leggings is endless, and so is the amount of options you have.

There really is nothing that leggings can’t do. If you’d like to have more versatility, cost-effectiveness, comfort, and variety in your capsule wardrobe, you need to add more leggings into the mix.
